The Imaging & Radiology Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital is a fully equipped and advanced diagnostic center committed to delivering precise, timely, and reliable imaging services. Using state-of-the-art technology, we support early detection of diseases and assist clinicians in making accurate treatment decisions.
Our department offers a wide range of services, including diagnostic radiology, bedside ultrasound scans and procedures, computed radiography systems, fixed and portable X-ray units, and advanced CT scan imaging. These technologies enable us to provide detailed and accurate imaging for patients across all departments, including critical care and inpatient wards.
We are supported by a team of threeexperienced radiologists who ensure the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient care. Our facilities include high-end ultrasound machines, a 500 mA fixed X-ray unit, portable X-ray units available in all wards, and advanced Stradus software that allows X-ray images to be viewed directly within wards for faster clinical decisions.
Our imaging services include a wide variety of ultrasound scans such as abdominal, obstetrics and gynaecology, carotid, scrotal, and peripheral vascular Doppler studies. We also perform fluoroscopy procedures and bedside imaging for critically ill patients.
Our 16-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scan services provide detailed imaging for multiple areas including brain, face, orbits, paranasal sinuses (PNS), temporal bones, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, extremities, and kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB). Both plain and contrast-enhanced studies are available to support comprehensive diagnosis.
We also offer advanced 3D reconstruction imaging and CT angiography studies for brain, carotid arteries, pulmonary system, aorta, renal arteries, abdomen, and upper and lower limbs (excluding coronary angiography). These advanced imaging techniques provide highly detailed visuals for accurate assessment and treatment planning.
